Our mission
We’ve always loved hosting. Whether it’s a long weekend with friends, a big family meal, or a simple cup of tea in the garden, there’s something special about sharing a place you love. In 2021 we found our spot in the edges of Dartmoor, we knew we wanted to create somewhere people could come to feel truly hosted by both us and by nature.
Burn Valley is an extension of that idea, a way to give more people a place to gather, feast and rest.
Life in the valley
Burn Valley is hidden away on the Western slopes of the Dartmoor National Park, sandwiched between open moorland and the River Burn.
It’s a perfect spot to immerse yourself in the landscape and let Dartmoor under your skin. Picture waking up to birdsong, strolling through ancient rainforests, swimming in clean rivers, cooking dinner over an open fire and stargazing from your outdoor bath.
If you want to peer out of the valley, there are walks across the moor to three country pubs and the market town of Tavistock is a short drive or bus ride away.
