These Terms & Conditions explain how our website and services work. By using www.burnvalleyflowers.co.uk or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. About Us

Burn Valley Flowers is operated by a sole trader based in the UK.
We create pressed flower artwork, bespoke pieces, and occasionally provide floral services for events.

2. What We Offer

3. Ordering With Us

3.1 Standard Artwork Orders

When you order a non-custom piece:

  • You will receive an email confirmation

  • You may cancel within 24 hours

  • After 24 hours, the order is processed and cannot be cancelled

3.2 Custom Orders & Bouquet Preservation

For bespoke items:

  • A deposit is required

  • Deposits become non-refundable once the order is confirmed

  • Custom items are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless defective or damaged on arrival

4. Prices & Payments

  • All prices include VAT

  • Payments are made securely by card

  • Prices may change, but your confirmed order price stays the same

5. Delivery

5.1 Delivery Area

We deliver UK-wide using trusted couriers.

5.2 Delivery Fees

Fees vary depending on the artwork size and weight.

5.3 Delivery Times

Delivery times depend on the courier. Tracking will be provided when possible.

5.4 Missed or Failed Deliveries

If a delivery is missed or delayed due to courier issues, their terms apply.
We’ll always help if you need support.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

6.1 Returns for Standard Artwork

If you’re not happy with your artwork:

  • You must contact us within 7 days of receiving it to let us know

  • Only non-custom pieces are returnable

  • Return postage is paid by the customer

  • A refund is issued once the artwork is safely returned in original condition

6.2 Custom Orders

Custom-made items cannot be returned or refunded unless damaged or incorrect on arrival.

6.3 Cancellations

  • Standard orders: can be cancelled within 24 hours

  • Custom orders: deposits are non-refundable once confirmed

6.4 Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photos of the issue. Once I’ve received the details, we can discuss the best options together, such as a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the situation.

7. Custom Bookings & Wedding Bouquet Preservation

7.1 Custom & Bespoke Orders

All custom artwork, including pressed-flower pieces, personalised designs, and wedding bouquet preservation, are made specifically for you. Because of this, deposits are non-refundable once your order is confirmed.

7.2 Changes & Cancellations

If you need to make changes or cancel a custom booking, please contact me as soon as possible.
Cancellations can only be accepted within 24 hours of placing the order. After this time, work may have already begun and cancellation may not be possible.

7.3 Wedding Bouquet Preservation & Custom Artwork

Once we have received your deposit and confirmed your dates for bouquet preservation, deposits are non-refundable, as we may have turned down other bookings for those dates.

For custom artwork services, a non-refundable deposit is required. Once your flowers have been received and preparation has started, the booking cannot be cancelled.

7.4 Balance Payments

The remaining balance for custom artwork or bouquet preservation must be paid before the final piece is shipped or collected.

7.5 Failure to Provide Materials

If you book bouquet preservation or custom artwork but do not send or deliver your flowers in time, the deposit cannot be refunded.
I will always provide instructions on how and when to send your flowers to ensure the best preservation quality.

8. Intellectual Property

All website content—including photos, artwork, branding, and written copy—is owned by Burn Valley Flowers.
You may not copy, use, or distribute any content without permission.

9. Website Use & User Behaviour

By using this site, you agree not to:

  • Misuse the website in any unlawful or harmful way

  • Attempt to damage or interfere with the site

  • Post harmful or abusive content

  • “Scrape” content (automatically copying images/text using software or bots)

Please use the site respectfully.

10. Links to Other Websites

We sometimes link to external sites.
We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

11. Limitation of Liability

We provide your artwork with reasonable care and skill.
We are not liable for:

  • Courier delays

  • Events outside our control

  • Indirect or consequential losses

This does not affect your UK consumer rights.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when needed.
Any changes will appear on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
